Dr. Jane Goodall visited us during her trip to South America in 2015. The renowned primatologist came to visit the Refuge in order to start a collaboration in environmental education and conservation programs. It was very inspiring to have her walking through the Sanctuary!

Our Director Kendra Ivelic was interviewed by “Ladera Sur”, in a broadcasting platform, to talk about the native fauna in Chile, its threats and the work we do in the Refuge.

We were part of the 1st Episode of the great Wild Chile Series, broadcasted by Chilevisión, in 2017 and other international media.

The Refuge was the protagonist of an episode of Factor de Cambio, for Channel 13c.

This illicit act is rarely investigated and it operates silently in Chile. We are talking about the traffic and illegal possession of animals, which leaves numerous victims each year.
