Located in the Cascada de las Animas Nature Sanctuary, the Cascada Animal Refuge is made up of a Rehabilitation Center and an Exhibition Center for native fauna, where work is done every day to care for all native animals that need it.
Although our main objective is to rehabilitate and release the animals that are received, there are some that for various reasons cannot be released. Learn more about them and help us by making a donation or sponsoring one of them.
Dr. Jane Goodall visited us during her trip to South America in 2015. The renowned primatologist came to visit the Refuge in order to start a collaboration in environmental education and conservation programs. It was very inspiring to have her walking through the Sanctuary!
Our Director Kendra Ivelic was interviewed by “Ladera Sur”, in a broadcasting platform, to talk about the native fauna in Chile, its threats and the work we do in the Refuge.
