Rumi

This beautiful burrowing owl was “rescued” as a chick and taken to the CRAR Rehabilitation Center. Unfortunately, as a chick he was demonstrating imprinted behaviors due to his upbringing in captivity, and was unable to pass the tests that would allow his release (such as hunting and flying).

For this reason he came to live in the Refuge, to share his life with Eclipse in a special enclosure for them.
