Antu

This Chilla Fox (or Grey fox) was attacked by a dog when he was only a week old…

He arrived to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Unit (UFAS) in September 2015, with three fractures in his limbs and a wounded tail. He was taken care and raised until he was two months old but his injuries and consequent captive upbringing disables his release. This is the reason why he comes to live at the Cascada Animal Refuge, where he transformed into a very lovely and playful fox.

He lived a life filled with love, games and adventures, but he passed away in August 2022 due to a liver disease. Antu touched many hearts and he was an endeared ambassador.

We always remember him as a very important member of the family in Refugio Animal Cascada.
